Accept $5,000,000 to have no romantic relationship in your life?

I am enough of a hustler to make close to that on my own so I would turn it down. I already have good money and the kind of woman most men dream of so I am happy.

Nope. Love is the best drug for me. Perhaps for 5 million per day though. Then I'd invest most of it in social projects and animal welfare and environment protection.

I have no idea who you are, but you just grew on me after that.

Yes. of course I'd take the money - I'm living that life now anyway without the money!! :)

Same here. Its not as hard as it sounds once you realize the opposite sex wants nothing to do with you. Everyone says you need to be happy with yourself first...the money would surely help.

Where do I sign?

I might take it. There are a lot of great things in the world other than romantic relationships. I could still have a nice life.

I would take the money in a heartbeat! but if you included no masturbation then i would say forget it in a heartbeat.

gosh what terrible web we weave... oddly didnt think that romance had to be sexual.A person can be intimate/romantic without bumping uglies.

So since the original agreement was to remove the romance .. and take the money.. It can be done. Most males rarely consider romance to be apart of sexual relations anyways. they are naturally good at compartmentalizing .

I'd take the money .... I can still view a sunset and go out with folks... without romance being assumed.

Not sure that it can be assumed that one would be miserable and alone simply from not having romance. I can name ( myself included) people who live full lives and aren't dependent on a "romantic" relation to be complete .

I did not scroll to read any changes added on to this hypothetical as the original post seemed conducive enough to add response .

Reading some of the posts here is quite sad, I wish I could set up everyone up.

Someone wrote on here, a "perfect relationship". There's no such thing as a perfect relationship.

Teal Swan speaks about this the best.

Hopefully, this will enlighten some people on here.

my answer:

I would LOVE to accept the money, knowing that I can fully support my family financially and have some peace.

However, they will see it in me that I am not fully happy. Whatever.

I might even stil take it. My body will automatically go off if I neglect myself, so it's not like I'm going to explode.

BUT, if part of the deal was no pets, I'm out.

Amazingly, someone has put this question up... I would take the money, its not that I'm ugly or anything like that... Woman to me just are mean. I live near Chicago and most of them are very picky, because they so many guys to choose from. They always look for perfection. But they all give you the stupid 2 time rule, if by the second time you don't get on their good side, you're out. Plus in my age group 20-25, they just have no idea what they really want. It might just be me but that's my piece...

A few years ago I would say yes, so long as it's only for one or two years. I would not do it at all now and I would never do that for the rest of my life.

Pass.

Nah man, as burned as I've been by relationships, there's nothing like that feeling of being in love. Grass is greener, the sun shines brighter etc etc
