aprilisi
Been talking to this man online. After about a month I mentioned meeting. He says he's having financial problems and I told him that didn't matter. There were lots of stuff we could do. Then waited. That was a month ago. He's single. Distance isn't a factor. Just about 20 miles probably but he's in my town often. Has family here. I know he has an issue with depression. He's mentioned it before. So two months and nothing. I hate to put a time line on things. But thinking of just giving it up. Hate to ghost...have had that done to me. Feel like I should say something. But don't wanna seem too needy about it. Any advice?

impatiently_patient
That's a tough one. Being on the economic skids is brutal on a guy's self-esteem. Trust me, I was there... and never really fully recovered. That said, you've made it clear that it doesn't matter and are giving him a chance, which is fantastic. The ball's firmly in his court and you have no reason to wait forever. Give him the kindest ultimatum you can, I say.

Wouldn't it be better to just go with somebody else who doesn't have all these problems?
