nais
Guess my words of "leave me the Eff alone" didn't hurt his feelings too badly. He called, I did not see that I had missed it until hours later. Curiosity was on my side- I texted a "Hard Headed" message he responded fairly quickly. He tried me a few comments later but I have stood firm for the most part. I was emotional last week, Had to have a biopsy- needed the support, he provided it when I did not expect to hear from him. Biopsy came back benign but the situation made me understand further that I must have my own, so that I am able to be supported in situations just like this. I was alone during the biopsy and after they asked who was with me. I am 45 going on 46, it hurts to always deal with medical issues with no support of my own. I am glad to have had a person in my corner at that moment of stress, but I will be even happier with my own in the near future. Nothing lost and everything to gain letting the MM go.
Lois_Griffin
Nothing lost and everything to gain letting the MM go. Smarter words were never spoken. I'm assuming his 'support' was by phone or text. Hardly the thing dreams are made of, is it? There's someone out there that will actually let you lean on him when you need to. I mean physically - as he walks into the medical facility with you. Not just via text or WhatsApp. You're a smart lady.

yodelwithyu
Ugh, doing the medical stuff by yourself when he should be there really sucks, doesn't it? Sorry you went through that. I am happy for the news that it is benign. Stay strong!
