Mr_ridge2u
My ex-wife is in a new relationship. Recently she contacted me about getting her brakes fixed in which I got a friend, which is a mechanic, to fix her brakes. Isn't that a disrespect to her new man to contact me, her ex husband, to fix her brakes?

Author Mr_ridge2u
I see where you're going with this and I need to start saying no. I wondering why does she contact me and she's in a relationship. Isn't he capable?

TunaCat
You need to start establishing boundaries with her. "No" is a complete sentence that requires no explanations. She contacts you because you allow her to. Unless there are kids, there should be no contact between you two. If there are kids in the picture, you should only be talking about them. Mr. Lucky
Your right S2B. Obviously I still care for her. I don't think your ability to refer brake work is going to entice her to return. You've gotten good advice, start focusing on yourself... Mr. Lucky
