Now, if you're wanting to restrict your search to the internet, go to your favorite search engine and type "dating sevice" or "matching service" in the search field and press go. You will find lots of sites with and without pictures. Also, most of the search engines themselves, such as Lycos and Netscape, have their own personals. A good site that will give you a ten day free trail is www.match.com You should be able to find lots of nice people during that time. Most of the sites let you search according to your own geographical and personal criteria. If you post a personal ad at any of the sites, I urge you to give more information about yourself than you did here. This is not a dating or matching site...but once you find someone and you have issues to deal with, come back and post them here for some good advice. I think you will have better luck if you have your friends introduce you to people in person. It's a lot easier and more fun to meet people you can see, feel and touch. There is no screening what kind of psychos/loosers etc you will talk to. The best way to meet someone is through a trustworthy friend or get involved in something your interested. You can find someone with mutual interest. You are 18, don't be so eager to resort to online romance. You have your whole life ahead of you to meet someone. Why don't you focus on you (career, friends/school/family). Make yourself into the person your dream man would fall in love with.
