LucreziaBorgia
Well, how old are you? 4 years can be nothing, or everything depending on where that span begins and ends.
Illusion24
I was dating a guy who's 5 years younger than me and it's hard but sometimes I can't even feel the age difference. We're in two different places in our lives but if you love each other and care for one another it shouldn't matter. I noticed that now after the break-up that love is big and it can over take anything. If you're willing to wait for whatever it is he needs to take care of in order to catch up with your life, than do it. Theirs going to be up's and down's where you'll feel "wow he's so immature" but at the same time we all need a little reminder not to be so uptight and not to take life so seriously. That's one of the things my EX taught me...To have fun again. It's funny I thing about the age thing so much that it takes away from my happiness that I had with him....I've noticed NOW ...age shouldn't matter, it's how he makes you feel
moimeme
If you're 16 and he or she is 12, you're in trouble. If it's 18 and 22 big deal.
st8toftheheart
4 years is a drop in the bucket, depending on how old you are. My ex was 9 years younger than I. I in my mid 30's her in here mid 20's. Our lifestyles clashed on numerous occassions causing problems. 4 years though, its pretty safe. Again depending how old you are now. If you have fun together and don't clash, enjoy.
