Get your insecurities out, log on, chat her up and see where it leads. You have NOTHING and I mean NOTHING to lose. You sitting there freaking out isn't going to help you progress in any way. If she's someone who looks nice, sounds pleasant from her profile and lives closeby, just say hello back and start a conversation. Maybe use something from her profile as an icebreaker. This is why I never message a man first anymore. Why go through creating an account if you're not ready? Probably used to no one responding to his profile. Whereas women have to delete hundreds of emails, men barely get them. This is like going fishing and catching no fish. You fall asleep because no fish will bite anyway. It's not scam either, her message referenced something very specific about my city and my love for <hobby>. Anyway,I replied to her after posting this. That was 5 days ago. Nothing so far.
