smackie9
I'm a 50/50 kind of gal.....I pay, then he can pay. I don't care how much more he makes, to me that shouldn't matter.
Space Ritual
All the more reason to sweep someone off their feet that works at Arby's. Hey I don't mind somebody else splurging for a Beef and Cheddar once in awhile if it is going to lead to some wild sex that includes a Heaping Helping of Horsey Sauce....LMAO! Spectre
Why does the man have to pay for your food? Seriously, why? Explain this to me. Are you his wife? Oh no, you aren't married? Oh okay then, stop complaining. He also lives at home still, but is apparently WELL OFF according to you. Look I know people can be cheap, but it's hard to buy that he is rolling in money so much and yet chooses to live at home. Maybe the nice car and the child support payments take away most of his cash? Though here is my thing, you've been with the guy for a year. It should of been clear from week ONE the way he was. But you stayed, and now here you are whining about having to pay for your own meals.
smackie9
Can't change a cheap ass, time to move on and find someone who's spending habits are compatible to yours.
cichlid
Thanks for all the responses guys , really appreciate it. I would really like to make things work with this guy though. I was always taught if something was broken, you fix it, not throw it out.. But I'm not sure if this can be fixed, can't raise a man right ? It's foolish to think you're going to ever change a guy. It's just not going to happen.
Spectre
OP your mistake is to think the only way to fix this is for him to spend more money on you. Perhaps try to reach a middle ground. Why did you stay with him for a year if you knew he was like this? Why waste his time? And your time, if he is so cheap? This should of been obvious 2-3 months in.
