loverage21
How did you grow together with the love of your life?
d0nnivain
No adult relationships are not like committed FWB. FWB is a misnomer because there is no commitment & barely any friendship. It's sex with NO emotion. A good healthy loving relationship is sex, friendship, support, compassion, laughter, tears and solidarity.
Author loverage21
No adult relationships are not like committed FWB. FWB is a misnomer because there is no commitment & barely any friendship. It's sex with NO emotion. A good healthy loving relationship is sex, friendship, support, compassion, laughter, tears and solidarity. But you can have love without sex and sex without love. Is sex more of a lustful act and a way of relieving sexual tension more than it is about love?
d0nnivain
It varies. Sometimes it's about sex & passion -- hot & hard. Sometimes it's about love making, slow & sensuous. You both love & lust your partner. Best of all worlds.
compulsivedancer
If you just mean is love about having a close committed friendship with sex involved, yeah, I'd say that's about right. Obviously that's a bit simplistic, but that's kind of the basic scenario. Add in that you are usually/often financial partners and parental partners, roommates, and the decision maker in matters of health and death. There are lots of other ways you are partners that friends don't often experience, and these shape you into something deeper than a typical friendship, and also tear your friendship apart if you let them.
