FadedSign52
I have finally created an online dating profile at a site that starts with M. I am 40 and have been single for 2 years or so and decided its about time to get serious (finally eh?) and find someone with whom I am compatible etc etc., what we all want essentially. I am a guy. I received a barrage of winks and favorite's by what are obviously fake profiles. Attractive women that are in their early 20's, 3 states over, look like models with sketchy looking profiles. Is that what it is like or did I just pick the wrong site? the few genuine people are getting lost in literally a barrage of junk. The hoopla will die down then you'll see the real people that are interested in you. No offense, but why would you be interested in someone 15-20 yrs younger than you anyway? If you're new to OLD, I'd avoid that crazy business ... especially if you're interested in a "serious" relationship. Also...if the name of the dating site rhymes with Saskwatch ... you can set your mailbox parameters to only receive messages from women in a certain age group. I'd highly recommend this or you'll be asked to "fund" women in all parts of the world ... and there will be some attractive ones so be careful.

I'm not interested in someone that much younger, +-5 years or so is what I am looking for. And I'm definitely looking for serious. I found the email settings, thanks! The majority of winks etc just seem to be from profiles that don't exist when I click on them or are hidden somehow. I'll give it some time.
