Tips for confidence for a young guy

Recently, i was dumped , and one of the best advice my female friends gave me was : You need to be more manly, more confident, learn from this . I agree with her and i feel like i need to work on myself as i heal , especially confidence . I am a rather quiet, not very physically intimidating young guy (21 years old) , i work out and i dont have a bad body , im not really bad looking (from what i am told haha.) Any tips on how to be more confident, or exercises to help me get more confident , to have more of a "presence" in my life . I am not expecting miracles, just want to start feeling better with myself and how i communicate with others

Well treat woman like they are a dime a dozen without being a jerk.

What i mean by that is dont be a ? be a wolf . Also if a woman rejects you play it off like it mot a big deal.

Short story I had a female teacher tells us in college how she meet her husband it funny. He asked her out she said NO so he did what only a man can do and asked another girl out in front of her . Any way now the teacher and him are married .

That is called game and not guving a flying you know what woman and men think of you.

At the end of the day if people do not like you it is there problem not yours.

This may sound weird but...

If you masturbate daily, stop.

If you smoke marijuana, stop.

Those two things alone will do WONDERS for your confidence.

Confidence is about being fearless, which is about initiative.

When you take initiative in life, you believe in yourself. When you believe in yourself you aren't scared.

You have wants and desires and goals? Go get them. When you don't chase your wants and desires you feel shame. And it lessens your self-worth.

Are you in a class. Concentrate and do better. Haven't talked to a friend in a long time? Call them and talk. DOING STUFF makes you feel powerful. The other guy who mentioned masturbation and weed is onto something. Those are passive activities.

It makes you the master of the little world you live in. Being a passive observer is the opposite. It neuters you. This stuff is all a cycle. So you need to sack the F*** up and get the ball rolling.

If you work out and you are handsome, the question is what "being manly" is perceived by your ex-girl? Maybe she was into "tough looking badboys" (meaning bald head, tatoo and stiff face, which is easy as hell) and you atre just "normal guy", too "girly" for her type...

Understand what makes you unique, work on it and take a pride on it, Regardless what your current surrounding think of it. The prior idea is - whay YOU think about yourself and what people YOU trust think of you?

best luck

OP I also tried working on my confidence when my ex left me, it never came back.

I tried it all, I worked out, went out with friends!!! nothing worked absolutely nothing.

the reason why nothing worked was because I tried to congest all theres things while I was still in the same ****ing school with my EX which ment I saw her everyday

but once I went to university to study something I love (CS) positive things started happening I started to laugh more, I started enjoyig going out (unlike 2 years ago).

all I can say is if your ex dumped you recently, no matter what u do it will feel like u doing it for her.

if u want to work on ur confidence make sure you never see her ever again coz if u see her everyday it might take u 2 years to move on. just like me.

THEY SAY TIME HEALS, BUT TIME HEALS NOTHING IF YOU SEE AN EX EVERDAY.
