youdunsay
I was just somewhat taking a breather after being converted into a permanent staff in my company. Some of my friends are chasing GMAT in a bid to take masters degree. Some of my friends already got driving license. The idea of re-taking another academic exam somewhat torments or haunts me. I failed terribly several times. I don't think I am up for grinding myself to study and cut myself off from the world again. Then again, I have no goals now. What should I do? sportygirl89
See if you can find a professor, mentor, or tutor to help you study. You can always go back to school or get other certifications. Set short term goals now, life is more tolerable with goals set. It could be something simple like take a trip after you pass the test.
No_Go
Just set goals that are not related to education if you don't want to study more. It could be anything really - gets promotion at work, start a business, volunteer for something, a relationship goal, saving money for some purpose, anything that you want to achieve. VirtualHope
First of all, congratulations on your new permanent position! It looks like your goal to become an employee of the company was well-achieved and you are all set to begin 2016 strong. I can also see how you might be feeling a little overwhelmed at the moment. Starting a new job or career can be exhilarating and a bit scary all at the same time. Now could be a good time to give yourself a break from the academic studies, if you consider the fact that as a full-fledged staff member you might be required to take on additional work responsibilities as well as master new skills. Even so, you can definitely create short-term goals from these scenarios alone. Whatever you decide, I think you'll do just fine with goal-setting. You've made it thus far! Praying for guidance and wishing you great success in your perm position and life in general. Merry Christmas to you and a blessed New Year.
