no message from him after receiving my handmade Christmas card

We are 10 hours apart and I just tracked if he received my card,as he will go to his mum’s place on 24 and will fly to other country after 25.

 

I found that he had received yesterday but didnt contact me at all.

We arent official yet,but we did date before he moved back to his country,he bought me ticket to visit him and we did been through struggles.

Since I have chance to go to his country after graduate,he finally thought we can give it a try and dropped hints to want to be official with me when we meet next time.(we did discuss about meeting each other in Feb as i cant make it this month).

 

Last year Christmas we were sweet yet this year,his no contact after receiving my heartfelt card makes me sad.

My friends all think my card is very thoughtful. He online everyday but till now no message...

I don't blame you for being upset, I would feel the same way. It takes TWO SECONDS to send a quick "thank you" message or text. I hope you hear from him soon, him not acknowledging your card is not cool...

Thanks,he sent me messages saying thank you for amazing card and said what he is going to do during christmas.

 

anyway,i doubt....if you are really happy and excited receiving something,i think you will message the giver immediately.

He was free but it took him 2 days to message me....not happy anymore.

How frequently had you been in contact up until now? You also say he was dropping hints about becoming official - for example?

clearly things have been more complicated.

 

did you or he date people in between? what happened?

 

if you hurt him in the past I suspect he is trying to move on, if you didnt then he is simply not interested.

So he did say thank you....it's the holiday season. He may have been busy with his family and didn't have time to really sit down and have a conversation with you. And to be honest a lot of men don't see the gesture in homemade cards. They are wired differently. Us women tend to become emotionally invested in stuff like that. It's not a flaw, it's just how we all are.
