Ladies, did you feel happier when you deleted your OLD account?

Recommended Posts

I'm getting frustrated with OLD, I have such high hopes that I will meet a guy as good as the last, but it seems like it's come to a halt. I bunch of guys just message, I message back, then nothing. I can't deal with the rejection.

Aww I hear ya.

Same here. I've deleted my profile eons ago - it didn't make me feel any better. Just a little bit relieved that I'm not putting myself out there anymore.

Sometimes, in my sudden burst of social-gratification, I find myself wanting to go back into OLD again... and then just as easily, I delete my account after just a week!

To no doubt search for the right man, but like you, I feel extremely JADED hoping a decent, level-headed, healthy-minded man could exist!

I wish we can man-shop as easily as picking out a nice panty from Victoria Secrets! Doesn't work that way... I'll just rely on the universe to someday give me a good guy.

I wish the same for you!

How big is your list of requirements for guys?

Give a few guys that may not meet all of them a chance and go on a few dates with them and they may grow on you. A lot of women seem to be extremely picky when it comes to online dating...

I hadn't been on OLD in a couple years. Signed in an account saw the prospects and when I signed out I deleted it.

I deleted my okcupid account recently. Never get any mail anymore. And never get approached in public either anymore.

I have accepted at 38 I will die alone. I have been trying for three years. I don't know what's worse being alone. Or all the rejected. Guess I'm about to find out

I deleted my account a few weeks ago and it was a relief for me. Not only because I just met jerks and weirdos there - I could spend the whole night telling amazing stories about my dates - but also because I felt like I was wasting time I could be spending trying to meet real guys in my real life.

Aww.. Don't worry, we are all in the same boat. I wish I could take you out, meet my girlfriends and we can all go manhunting together! :bunny:

A support network is always best.

You aren't alone. I am 32 and I get a message a week if I am lucky. 90% of them have one-word messages like "Hi". I don't get asked out in RL. I thought I was decently good looking but maybe I was wrong

I always end up deleting my account after 2-3 weeks.
