3 years later

I posted here in 2014 after being broken up for two years.. She came back into my life via texting and then bailed. This past summer (2015) we spent everyday together and it seemed great. Towards the end of summer I started to stress in my head because I would be leaving again. We were high school sweethearts, dated for a year and I left for the Marines, while she went to college. We lasted until her second year and we split up. It is now 3 years later. She is a teacher close to where we grew up and I attend college 2,000 miles away.

 

I deleted her off social network when I got back down to college this past August and we have had minimal contact since then. I did this because she did not want to commit to a relationship again because she feels it is still hard long distance and we still are young figuring out of futures. Since I have been home for Christmas I have texted her to hang three times and they were all met with maybes or another time. The night before Christmas Eve I ran into her at the bar and she was very excited to see me. She 'likes' my families posts on social media daily too. It confuses me because it seems like she wants to see me, but then it doesn't.

 

I want to pursue her again, but feel I may have screwed up when I went away and went no contact out of the blue. I feel dumb texting her to hangout now after being maybe'd three times. I am planning on waiting to here from her again, but I am worried I will not, and if I do be friendzoned. Any advice?

You asked her THREE TIMES and she blew you off with maybe's. Don't waste time on a girl who seems confused or doesn't know what she wants. Just imo.
