ZA Dater
Yip I know 2016 seems more than a fair few hours away, with the west coast of the US waking up around about now but her 2016 is rather nearer. What are your dating/relationship goals for 2016?

lilmissjava
2015 represented the worst breakup of my life and 10 months later I am a happy individual looking forward to some great prospects in 2016. I am also hoping the guy I like will sweep me off my size 10 feet
sportygirl89
To have a fulfilling committed relationship. If its not meant to be I won't be settling for anyone. So if I'm meant to be single this year I'll be okay and pretty happy.
Gaeta
After hanging in LS for 2 years I finally am in a relationship! ALMOST 1 month dating lol. So my 2016 objective is to have that relationship last at least another month ;-)
Art_Critic
To try and take my wife out more, just the 2 of us.... When I was single I never had dating goals, when I was young a made a goal of being married with 2 kids by the time I was 30.. nope.. didn't happen, that helped teach me you can't just make things happen. I think a goal of getting out more, putting yourself in places where there are single people would be a great goal, I also think a change of dress can shake things up..

deckard11
My dating goal? To actually have a woman say yes when I ask her out on a date for just once in my life.
candie13
2015 was mindblowing in soooo many ways. I have started the year talking to someone and we even dated for 6 months. I've met a few men after that, but most importantly, I've grown more spiritual and grounded. I also fought some huge battles, faced some demons, won some battles and lost some battles, too. My dating goals involve giving myself much much more time, to listen to my intuition much more. Put much less pressure on me. If I could phrase my "romantic" goals in one phrase, that would be "I aim to seek and form meaningful connections to me first". Relationships after that aren't automatic, but it will be such a huuuuge change to pine after someone I've had a genuine connection with and not some guy who faked a RS to get sex . Popsicle
I don't have any dating goals but I have other goals. My plan is to just live my life and 2016 will probably be uneventful like 2015 was in terms of dating.

Author ZA Dater
I have decided to not have any dating goals but rather have things I would like, not that there is much difference between the two ! I'd love to actually go on a date with someone I like. Perhaps another thing I would like is for those on the forum like me to have some success, maybe a special moment to restore hope and maybe that moment which leads to something special. As I sit here on my own, happy 2016 everyone, I hope its a fantastic year for all of you.
TheArtist
I've come to understand the difference between need and want. I want a relationship but I don't need one. I've loads of stuff lined up for myself next year but if the right girl comes along and wants to share then I'm all for that. Also going to try approaching more women during the day which I've never tried before. Should be a good confidence boost too. Good luck to everyone, whatever you're planning!

sin miedo
Multiple girlfriends at the same time. Someone likes to play with fire! For me, I'd like to develop my ongoing relationship (5 months) even further with the understanding that it will not be easy, especially with it recently becoming long-distance. Moreover, as much as I like focusing on my gf, I also need to work on myself so that I can be my best "me."
Xiomn
Great to hear, well done. I hope you meet some fantastic people. Cheers bro, I got a girls number over Facebook today after asking if she fancied getting together for a drink in the new year when we're both back in the area so that looks promising. Also got another girls number a few weeks back over Tinder and she seems really interested with flirting and stuff although because it's Christmas holidays and everyone is back home for the holidays (as with girl above also) we won't be able to go on a date until the New year. I haven't texted her in a week but hopefully in a few days when she's back in town I'll hit her up and see if she's still interested in meeting up. Looks like it might be a good start to the year. I just hope they're still interested in going out when the time comes. Edited December 31, 2015 by Xiomn

GR4
My goal in 2016 is to give up on finding someone. Might sound defeatist and negative but I'd rather concentrate on other things. I'm going to try and not talk to women when I'm out and about and steal well clear in general. That way I can't get attached and can't get hurt.
trippi1432
Yip I know 2016 seems more than a fair few hours away, with the west coast of the US waking up around about now but her 2016 is rather nearer. What are your dating/relationship goals for 2016? To not date the same a**clowns I dated in 2015. Like these guys: 6 ridiculous phrases men use to break up Nor date the typical a**hole pretending to be the "Nice Guy" who dumped me today. Basically, he's not ready for a relationship..yada yada yada, so he had to let me know that on NYE's. Yeah, that hurt but I respect a guy who can be honest............but..........Why?? Because he is going to be at the same NYE venue as me with another woman he met before me over the summer who is visiting from out of town. How do I know this...........he told me!! :lmao: Then WTF, why was he on a dating site and dating me for a month???? Am I keeping my plans, you bet your sweet a** I am!! Do I care he is there? Nope, my 2016 dating/relationship goals just changed.....do unto others as they do unto you. I was looking forward to 2016, now all I care about is ME.

Moe'sTavern
The same as 2015. Do nothing and hope some girl asks me out, since I probably won't do it.
