Yeah, but the difference is that when I text I can go onto the internet, google something funny and charming and not have to put an effort into impressing her, but if the girl calls me without warning me, and I'm on the train or with my friends, I don't have the necessary time to google for stuff to impress her, and I'm really not too much keen on putting an effort to impress her.

 

oh, I can do it. I can be quite naturally charming and come up with stuff that belongs to me. I just don't feel like taking part in that.

 

You're thinking too much into this. You shouldn't have to Google witty things to say to keep a woman interested. The right person will naturally bring it out of you. You will just click well together and have the right chemistry and no conversation will ever be boring, even if you have absolutely nothing unique or interesting to say.

 

Speaking on the phone is the next best thing to seeing each other. There's a higher level of intimacy there that you don't get through "lols" and "lmaos" on a small screen. Just hearing each other's voices should be engaging enough and you should want to call just to be in a closer space to her.

 

Now, if this girl doesn't inspire that in you.. if you have to resort to Googling what to say to her.. maybe she's not the right one

I personally prefer texting. It is easier to think of things to say without worrying about akward silences to fill. Im not lazy or lukewarm about a guy if i only text him. If he calls i pick up of course but in the early stages im content with texting.
