ballroommarine
I am in a new long distance relationship, and actually very ecstatic about it. We're not extremely far apart, about 8-9 hours. While we're apart, what are some good tips about keeping the relationship strong? Neither of us have been in a long distance relationship but one night we had a conversation about how in the past few months we were more concerned about how each other was doing than dating people in our area. It made us both feel really good to be on the phone every other day or so and we decided it was time for us to be together.

Well LDR's are hard. Its not all like a fairy tale story but its worth it if your with 'the person'.These are a few ideas which came in mind right now. The most important tip would be to make him feel special, so special that distance dsnt matter. Skype..calls..voice messages..texts.. you can make it more romantic by sending hand written love letters..which is rare and exiciting. You can both do like a same activity together, like trying out a new book. You can send something symbolic stuffs reminding of your time toghether. Make collages .. cautions: never make him feel left out. eg. if youre going out with your friends. make sure he knows your busy. cheers !
