In love with someone I can't have

As the title says, I am in love with someone which I will never have. There are many reasons for that. She once told me she loved me, than suddenly she blocked me of every single social networks saying that "the magic is over". Because of her family we have never been able to have anything, even to talk to much in person. I think that this is one of the reasons, but I just can't get her out of my mind and I really don't want it. I want to be with her, love her as much as I can love a person. I am afraid of caling her and be blocked by the last way of communication I have with her. I'm feeling under the weather. Can anyone tell me what to do, please?

Move on.

It's a pointless and ultimately heart-breaking exercise to consider a strategy involving contacting her.

There is nothing for you to do but quit pining and let her go.

How long ago did all of this happen...?

Being hung up on an ex that doesn't want to be with you, is like hanging onto an old lottery ticket that didn't win you anything.

You have to use your mental and emotional adult faculties to find out how to move on. You have to shift from the abandoned child mode, into the adult mode.

This might involve reading relevant books, seeing a counsellor, or writing about how you feel.

If the truth is told, you are hanging onto nothing.

Take care.

I can relate to this, I too like someone I apparently cant have who isn't interested in me.

Put simply I cant move on so most days are just spent in some sort of world where I try keep myself doing something. I want what I want and if I cant have it them so be it, I get to live my own failing each and every day.

It happened just a couple of weeks ago. The thing is: we live in a small city and she is always at the school where I teach, so I can't avoid contact. I really want to let her go, to get rid of this feeling. I was so emotionally balanced...

Thanks for the kind words, TaraMaiden2.

You have to respect her wishes. And if down the road as she matures, she wants to see you again, she knows where to find you.
