Hobbies to take up?

Recommended Posts

Hello, sorry if this is the wrong place to put this.

I'm a 20 year old guy. Illness and indecision have caused my life to be a little slow getting started. However this fall I plan on finally starting university in a new city.

And hopefully get on the dating scene.

However, I'm kind of lost at this moment. Along with having no experience, I don't have any real dedicated hobbies. I've kinda been drifting along in life Tbh.

I've got about 7 months to pick up on some interests. Dating and friendships (I usually prefer hang out with women as well) are kind of priorities moving forward along with schooling, and I'd like to know: what are some good interests pick up? Things that girls like and are able to talk about a lot (that isn't weird for guys to like to). If it makes a guy seem sexier that would be nice too. I'm a pretty blank slate at the moment, and I've got very little going on in the next few months so I'll have lots of time to get into these things. As long as it's not something you'd have to be into for years before you can have a coherent conversation with someone about it. Sorry if this was a ramble, but I need some suggestions.

Thanks

Learn how to play guitar. :)

I was the same age as the OP when I started.

One note about playing guitar. If you like to sing, you can enjoy yourself at a very low level of proficiency. If you want to play actual lead guitar you'll have to treat it more like a craft.

If you want to do the latter... this book helped me out:

Robot Check
