Author samantha_t85
He could be gay or bi? Not that there is anything wrong with that. Good luck. Haha! What does any of this have to do with his sexuality? I am pretty sure he is heterosexual, FWIW.
road
There is no reason that they can not work out together and get ripped together, then shower together, cook diner together, then get sweaty again (wink), then shower again (wink wink), then maybe get sweaty again (wink wink wink), then pass out together. Popsicle
Maybe casually ask him about it one day, but don't ask me how to ask it. It sounds tricky.
Popsicle
I said, no amout of him working out will change his taste in women. That statement says nothing about her changing. I'm assuming she hasn't. Some guys, once they get ripped, they are so into it, that they begin to favor ripped women.

Some guys, once they get ripped, they are so into it, that they begin to favor ripped women. I have asked him about it and he insists he's still as attracted to me as ever. He still compliments me and initiates sex often...so I should probably take him at his word! I also wouldn't necessarily say he's "ripped"...he's my personal ideal which is fit and trim but not overly muscular, if that makes sense?

T-16bullseyeWompRat
Some guys, once they get ripped, they are so into it, that they begin to favor ripped women. Gross! Fit and tone is one thing. Ripped and muscular is just disgusting to me. I dont understand the hetero male who is attrated to women that look like men.
WaitingForBardot
To the OP: I am active and fit. Although my wife was more active when we first met, she has slowed down quite a bit over the years. Unfortunately this is not without impact on her self-esteem, but it has had absolutely no impact on how I feel about her, sexually or otherwise.
Anderlie
He started getting fitter, felt better about himself and also noticed you were all over him like a rash. Win win for him. Seems like a pretty simple explanation to me!
spanz1
he may just be saying you look fine to him, but really be wishing you would lose a few pounds. How about working out a little and see if his attitude toward you changes positively?

How about working out a little and see if his attitude toward you changes positively? I don't really want to lose weight…I'm comfortable with the weight I'm at. And his attitude toward me is already very positive. Thanks for the input though.
ShatteredLady
I come from a very tall family in general. I was just a little taller than you & I'm 'the little one'. You're both on the slim side for your heights. Don't listen to anyone suggesting you loose 10lbs....110 or below & I look horribly sickly! Nothing seems to be a problem for you guys but from my own experience please remember to REALLY praise & reward him for his work! In his head it's likely that (at least in part) he's doing this for your vacation & for YOU! We all like to feel appreciated. After having babies & being diagnosed with a chronic spine condition I worked so very hard to get myself back to being very trim & toned. In hindsight my H was probably feeling insecure at the time. Anyway, he broke my heart by being the only person in my life who NEVER mentioned it!! When I was complemented he put me down & made me feel terrible about myself. It still hurts now In this day & age BOTH men & women are bombarded with all this 'perfect' body crap. I know that men can feel just as insecure about it. You guys sound genetically advantaged with naturally tall, trim body types. I know people who aren't & it really messes with their self esteem. So sad
True Gent
If this thread is an attempt to make single bachelors like me slightly jealous and realise what is missing from our lives, with all this talk of mutual attraction and a wife who can't keep her hands of us and finds us 'dreamy', then it's working Seriously though, you sound like a lovely wife who many would give their right testicle for. Reading what you've said I'd say he fancies the pants of you too and you've nothing to be worrying about. It sounds like you've got what most couples wish they had! Now just continue enjoying each other
