Head over heels for my coworker

Recommended Posts

Over the past few months, I've fallen head over heels for my new coworker, but I can't tell if he has been flirting with me or he's just a genuinely nice guy. I kind of think he is super intimidated by me because I've been at our company for a year longer than him (I'm about 6 months older than him), I'm the only girl at our firm, I'm outgoing/smart, and I'm decently attracted. I feel like he gets the impression that 'I'm too good for him,' but I don't think that at all! We are newly out of college and work in a professional job setting, but i find myself so infatuated by him. We don't text or talk outside of work, but every other weekend we'll go out drinking together with other coworkers or our seperate friend groups. I'm just so nervous around him when we aren't at work.

I've been single now for about 3 months, and it seems like I have all these guys hovering around me. I've gone on a few dates and even a few ex bfs have asked me out, but I seriously cannot get my coworker out of my head. He knows I've gone on dates, but I know he isn't talking to any girls at the moment. He always encourages me to get out these as I do with him, but secretly I hope he wants me for himself.

How do i get my coworker to fall for me? How do i let him know i like him without jeopardizing my job? I'm so scared of the possibility of rejection from him.

I'm not intimidated by seniority, and it's your modesty that attracts me.

You can't get him to fall for you it has to happen naturally. How do you know he isn't seeing women outside of the job? He probably already knows that you like him so just wait and see if he asks you out. Otherwise keep it moving.

Are you sure you really like him? Sounds like you're obsessed with the one guy who is eluding you.

What about complications at work? You're young. You're in dating mode. What if things don't work out? You'll go from loving this guy to hating him. How would that play out at work? Ever think he might like you but fears he could lose his job hooking up with you?

Ask him if he is seeing anyone, hopefully that will let him know your interested. Or just ask him out. It's the 21st century woman ask man out these days. 13 years ago a woman had the gourage to ask this intimidating man out. We got married after 6 months of dating. Good luck.
