Are black guys the only minority group attractive white women in the US go for?

Recommended Posts

Hello, I'm from California. I've lived here most of my life, except for the 3 or so years I lived on the East Coast (least coast!). These questions are all a little silly- sorry. Why are you letting racist people affect your relationship? Are you a first generation immigrant? I know it's a big adjustment. When you say people literally go out of their way to be racist, are you talking about a handful of times when someone made a stupid joke? Because they were probably jealous they weren't dating a "hot blonde girl"?

Anyway, to be practical, yes parts of California are generally much more diverse and politically liberal than some places on the East Coast. I can't really think of a more diversity loving community than Oakland or San Francisco- if you can afford to live there. That said, there were two extremely horrific gay bashing hate crimes within the past month- something you'd never think would happen in San Francisco. Los Angeles is maybe the most diverse city in the entire world- there is a community representing nearly every ethnic group- from Little Armenia to Koreatown, to Filipinotown, Little Ethiopia, Little Bangladesh, and the list goes on.

Racism is real, people can be idiots...you're just going to have to learn to handle it the way everyone else does. I'm white, I've dated black and latino men, if that matters.

No see I am actually dating a hot blonde but getting so much racism for it that I want to know of places in the USA where there are others like me dating attractive white women and not facing racism for it.

"I'm dating a hot blonde"- oh, so you found Barbie?

Is she more than a "hot blonde" to you? Or are you nothing more than "an attractive Indian guy" to her? I think that's what people are getting at.

My message to them is who the **** cares and why should they care. I love sleeping with her and she loves being with me. All I ask is that we can enjoy a nice date without being harassed or enjoy our life together without everyone treating us like we so weird for being together, and they do bring up race a lot which has me talking about the **** on this forum.

I feel like black guys are the only minority groups who get a pass from American society for dating hot white girls while guys from all other minority groups who date white girls, especially hot blondes, are socially crucified for it in the real world.

I think in general you're right, at least based on what I see - white girls dating black guys is common, other ethnicities not so much. Altho I have to say I've been told that's not so in other places, like the west coast. Never seen it tho.

I think in general if you want as little of a reaction and trouble as possible you should live in larger metropolitan areas, which tend to be more tolerant of different lifestyles overall - not just interracial couples but LGBTs and anything else. There'll always be outliers but they won't be real significant and they won't have much of a societal backing in big cities.

I doubt you'll ever find the utopia in your lifetime where absolutely no one ever looks at you wrong for anything.

You would be wrong.

Stop perpetuating the myth by regurgitating the stereotype, please.

I thought the hard part was getting hot white girls as a non-black minority, naw that's the easy part, the hard part is having to deal with life threatening situations for being with one.

I guess slowly I've accepted that this is going to be the norm for me in life even though it does kinda suck and I wish it wasn't. It's like American society puts up all these god awful stereotypes of men from non-black minority groups, does its best to indoctrinate American women into not dating us, and when they do date us it makes the life of the couple absolute hell.

Where do you live? Also has it occured to you that white women date black men because they are both American? They have more in common.

I'm a mixed-race (Asian/white) young woman dating an Indian-American guy and we've never received any harassment or stares, and we're also among the minority in our community. From my experience it's far more rarer to see Indian women with white men due to cultural expectations. Indian men with fair-skinned white women is not as taboo as you'd like to think. Just Google it.

Describing your girlfriend as a "hot blonde" makes it sound like you view her as some sort of trophy due to your background.

You are complaining about people being racist for only wanting to date a certain race and yet you are limiting yourself to 'hot blonde girls'. I would turned off due to you treating that type like a trophy if I was a white blonde girl and you wanted to date me. Point you can't complain about people's preferences when you are so selective yourself without coming across as a hypocrite.

And no white women don't only like black men. I've dated a guy of another race but I hate to describe in that way because I didn't date him because of his race, his race had nothing to do with it. I liked his personality and that's why we got together.

Yeah, it sounds pretty icky. If my boyfriend ever described his relationship with me the way you just did, I'd kick him to the curb faster than you can say slumdog millionaire.

Black man/white woman is common but it's mostly larger ladies.

This is certainly not true. Black men date beautiful white women as well.

TBH, I have seen a lot of white men with Indian women, not so much the other way around.

As for me calling my girlfriend a hot blonde, well she is good looking and blonde, strangers have made our lives hell for it.

You didn't read the thread.

I am NOT complaining about women's preferences, I am complaining about racism that comes from them dating who they want to date. See, I am a brown guy and my girlfriend is a blonde who is dating me, we get racism for it to the point it becomes very bothersome, so I am complaining about THAT.

2.50 a gallon

Back in the 70's I started dating a Mexican gal. I got a lot of heat from my own family. My father who taught us clear back in the 50's to be racially tolerant came to my aid. I had to cut out a few of my better friends.

Within her family, it took a little time for her father who spoke little English to come around. I have blue eyes, and her mother, who loved the song "Blue Spanish Eyes" was all in, as she wanted a grand daughter with blue eyes.

But her older divorced sister, was totally against her younger sister marrying a gringo. After being engaged for over a year and refusing to set a date until things got settled between her sister and us, my then fiancé broke it off.

I have just recently heard that the Ex waited until she was in her 30's to marry. A Korean guy who abused her from day one, as with my marriage it lasted about 6 months.

Neither of us ever had kids.

You wanna see racist, try being a non-Indian dating a smoking hot Indian chick.

I've known quite a few couples like this, even Nikki Haley's husband is white! You don't see the Brooklyn Deckers of the world dating Indian guys and I am learning first hand how racist America is towards such a couple.

I never got American society's blonde obsession, couple that in with its dislike towards minorities in general and you have my rough situation.

I'm an attractive blonde and usually men of different minorities don't talk to me or hit on me. A lot of black men hit on me, though. I'm married, so I don't take them up on it.

Racism happens everywhere. You won't go to a part of the USA and not encounter arrogant fools. Ignore them and get on with your life.

As a black person I don't expect to put the world to rights.. I live my life and if anyone makes a racist remark, I challenge them.

BTW.. you know the black guys get the same nonsense. Try seeing yourself as just a person without labels.

The 'hot blonde' business also makes you seem a bit immature.

2.50 a gallon

Forty years ago I was living in the desert southwest. I was fortunate in that one of my better friends was a Zuni Indian. He was a very popular guy and many a friend would make it a point to make a connection with him when they came to the big city from the reservation. In this way I was able to meet and party with many native Americans from many tribes.

Much to my surprise it turned out that there was a small number, of less than a dozen local non Indian women who were Indian Groupies who got turned on screwing just off the reservation guys. And most of them were hot looking.
