truthtripper
Well nature is really just a word to describe a large ecosystem of living things. Each one has their own consciousness. Each one struggling to survive just like humans are. If a tiger or a shark eats you because it is hungry .... I assure you it did so deliberately And for some reason humans like to think they aren't part of nature. We are really the same as any other animal in the eco system. Just a little smarter then some of the other creatures. Thats pretty much the only difference. I mean you build a house to live in and you know what so .... does a beaver Ours is just a little fancier. You are part of nature .... not just a foreign object put in its way. I wouldn't use the word "deliberate" to describe the action of the shark. It acts on instinct or uncontrollable programming if you will. It detects potential food and attacks. Humans, on the other hand, kill other humans not for food, but out of evil intentions. You wouldn't describe an innocent shark as evil would you?

You wouldn't describe an innocent shark as evil would you? How about a male lion who kills and eats any young that don't belong to him - or female spiders that mate with males then kill and eat them after having sex ? I think thats partly the problem with humans. We have instincts that evolved in the animal world where life was harsh and survival was difficult. Gathering resources was an important survival skill. Now we have more then we could ever need but still we gather more and more and more - never being able to say I have enough. Our survival is now dependent on being able to curb and balance some of the key instincts that allowed us to survive in the wild. Takes time to evolve. We teach children to share .... but then you look at the adult world and I think maybe its the children that should be teaching the adults Edited March 2, 2016 by Justanaverageguy
