Scott S
I'm dating myself a bit, I suppose. I remember when MTV first started cable-casting. It was strictly music videos, none of those "surreality shows." I had such a crush on Martha Quinn, thinking she was the cutest woman I'd ever seen. These days, I enjoy CMT. LucreziaBorgia
I was a big MTV fan too, back when they actually played videos and nothing else. I miss those days.
morrigan
I've seen Lamb of God, Shadows Fall, Underoath, God Forbid and Arch Enemy live. I'm a big black and death metal fan. Are you into Opeth, Electric Wizard, Soilent Green, or Goatwh*re? I've found a lot of great bands simply by going to shows and seeing opening acts. MTV has sucked for years. The old Headbangers ball show, years ago, was alright (I didn't have cable, so I only saw it occasionally at a friend's home.) I mostly blast my own cds or have my boyfriend download stuff off of sites for me to put on cds.

morrigan
I've went to Ozzfest before, probably am not going this year. I've been to Ozzfest 1997, 1999, 2000, 2002. Ozzfest still has some good bands, but it p*sses me off when I see some great bands out there work for years to get recognition, and some act gets to be in the lineup because of who is in the band, not based on the actual music. Happens in every genre, though. I'm going to Sounds of the Underground, Lamb of God is headlining it. You should go to that, if you can afford to, ticket prices are a lot cheaper than Ozzfest. http://www.soundsoftheundergroundtour.com/
