EXs and their 6th sense for moving on

There's a well-documented phenomenon on LS where an ex calls as soon as you've moved on. Well my friend had this happen a couple of times with her ex (who dumped her). She spends months getting over him and as soon as she's moving on, he calls.

 

So why doesn't it work out? Because HIS ex (who dumped him right before he got with my friend) has a 6th sense that he's moved on, so as soon as he calls my friend, his ex calls him. I guess because they were together longer, that relationship wins.

 

Imagine the chain effect if more people were involved...

This isn't a sixth sense. This is an ex realizing that you haven't called in a while and aren't trying anymore, and they want to see if they still have you on the end of their chain. It's sad, but then again, f**k em.

My ex has done this to me a few times. If he does it again, I'm telling him to go f*ck himself, and I've met someone else. There is nothing he can do or say at this point to make me go back, but I suspect he's going to freak when he learns that me and his baby daughter are spending time with another man. His loss...

ive had 2 ex's do this. one broke up w/ me twice (and is still tryin to call) and the other i broke up with and took 4 months until she quit calling. Just depends on how much you want to tolerate.
