imonlyafool
Long story short, we go to the same college and we are in the same program, so we have to see each other every other day. I try to get her out of my sight, but whenever I face toward her general direction, she is smoothing her hair with both hands or playing with it. I don't want to assume too much from too little. Although generally women touching their hair indicates attraction, but I've also heard that they do this when they are uncomfortable. So what are the signs do I need to look for? Obviously the best way to figure out is by directly talking to her, but I don't know if I've given her enough space and I didn't handle the breakup well, I don't want to be coming off as desperate. amaysngrace
Maybe she touches her hair because it's silky and smells pretty.
Author imonlyafool
Maybe she touches her hair because it's silky and smells pretty. Most likely, that's why I said I don't want to assume too much, but those stuff on the internet throws me a shred of hope. So what are big signs when when or if I should talk to her, or let her come talk to me?
amaysngrace
Smile and wait for her to talk to you first. Otherwise you will be bothering her. But mostly you should ignore her and stop looking at her.

amaysngrace
If your paths cross and you're face to face smile but if you're in class together and she touches her hair look the other way.
PegNosePete
Obviously the best way to figure out is by directly talking to her Exactly. Do this. People's feelings don't grow with time apart, they wane. The sooner you find out, the better.
Author imonlyafool
I don't know what I'm supposed to do. She seems to get jealous when I talk to other girls. I don't intend on making her jealous but talking to other girls help me stop thinking about her. But a part of me is saying that I still want her. When she dumped me, she had a very subtle gasp when I told her that I would try to move on.
Simon Phoenix
Women play with their hair all the time. Means very little. Either way, you're going to drive yourself insane by trying to read and interpret nonverbal cues. Stop. If she really was re-interested, she'd come up to you. She broke it, she'd make the effort to fix it. But you're clutching onto thin straws right now.
