Expect the Unexpected (Miami Music Week)

Well, it's over.

A week long date with a girl I've seen before, but not enough to justify a week long date.

We did Miami Music Week, a non stop party.

A couple of my friends (the stoner friends) shared the apartment.

We had a lot of fun, a lot of walls come down and we got close with each other.

It was very comfortable. She hinted all around at us being together. Said things over and over that assumed we will be.

No fighting in a week, nothing negative. Just good times.

As it turns out, she was neither a sugar baby nor a hooker, as some called her for accepting an expensive date.

In the end, she was interested in seeing me for me and I may take a visit to see her out west at some point soon. I showed her house music. She's going to show me country. :lmao:

No idea where we are going or if there is a future, but we sure had fun together....

It was well worth doing.

Glad you had fun!

But doesn't she have a kid? That doesn't really fit into your plan for casually boating around the world, does it?

(And to be honest, I would hope you didn't fight over the course of one week with a girl you don't know that well. Do you see that as a big accomplishment?)

I had a fun week too. My bathrooms are spotless!

(Yeah, I know you're jealous.)

Precisely why there is no future. The kid thing. Although pelnty of kids have grown up traveling the world.

We had fun though.

And yeah. Being with anyone 24/7, going to parties day and night, both being hit on constantly by strangers (her more so of course).... that would destroy most marriages, nevermind a date. ha ha ha So yes, it's miraculous we didn't have a single bad moment.

Can't see 2 of the posts because the people are on my ignore list.

I can't link to my personal stuff, but we basically spent a week straight going to day parties like these:

These parties went from like noon to 10 or 11pm, when the indoor parties start.

Then we'd go to the indoor parties. Dozens of amazing producers and DJs were at the events. Ended up discovering i like Jauz and Wax Motif on top of plenty I was already there to see and have seen before.

After a week straight, I'm pretty done with music for a bit and no partying for a long time!!! ha ha ha

And yes, this is not humble, it's brag. Or more accurately, sharing what was a great time with anyone interested in reading it. If not interested, or reading about people enjoying their lives angries up your blood, the ignore button is right there with my username. Simply use it.

Mostly, this post started off to show what a trying environment to have a week long date in this was though. It's definitely a miracle to make it through completely unscathed.

I was there too. I hated it..I had to go for work. That's not music, it's noise. And I'm quite a bit younger than you so no blaming it on my age!

Woodstock 94 was messy, but the music was good. There was a rumor that the Stones were going to drop in after Aerosmith's finale, and the chanting started. Sadly, it didn't happen.

I will say I've never met 300,000 more polite people! Whatever acid was going around was some mellowing stuff. I remember dozing off in the grass, listening to Joe Cocker, after my cohorts had wandered off. No one bothered me or stepped on me!

How was Uriah Heep?

There were two stages. I could only choose one.

I went with Nine Inch Nails.

I'll regret it in my grave. :(

Lots of ropey looking people listening to techno. No thanks

My gosh Emilia you don't sugarcoat anything (Whoops  )

If the OP views the week as a success, then I guess that's really what matters. Rock on!
