Find a therapist and start going.

 

And thank your lucky stars that you're now free of this emotional [abuser]

 

Once you're away from him for awhile, you'll start to believe in yourself again.

A highly skilled trauma therapist helped me get my strength back - and to understand that I would NEVER allow it again! I allowed it while I was in it for 25 years - and it's pure freedom being away from it!

 

 

 

That is what made me feel better! I now have a voice and speak my truth! When it's not right I say so very clearly. I need to say to others often enough that "I choose not to participate with you any longer."

 

I have a boundary and I stick to it - no waivering, no excuses for someone else's bad behavior. When they show me that it's unacceptable they have eliminated themselves and I have no problem telling them I am done. No second chances - it is who they are.

 

They can choose a more willing victim- that's no longer who I am!
