The sex dilema

Recommended Posts

A question to those who were married for a long time ; to great people , enjoying sex and life .

When one of the partners" sex drive slowly went down , what happened ?

It wouldn't be "enjoying sex" any more if somebody's sex drive went down.

My husband turned totally selfish and ignored me and my boys. I lost all of my desire. !2 years with a vibrator until my boys graduated and moved out, I went with.

For me, it would depend on my age at the time, I think, and how many more years of good, active sex I could still anticipate. It would also depend on how much of a decline occurs - some decline is typical.

If the decline were more than I could live with, I'd negotiate to open the relationship and see how that worked. If it didn't, I'd leave.

My first wife lost interest in sex as soon as we married, and that persisted for many, many years - until I divorced her. I'll never again settle for a sexless marriage, unless I've become sexless as well.
