Even if this is what you meant to write, it has no particular meaning here to me unless you put it in a more detailed context. Perhaps it implies that when we love someone, we love them while overlooking certain things...while when we are infatuated with someone, we are infatuated because of certain characteristics. But love is in spite of.... No matter what you do, you cannot make yourself love, can you? So in spite of it all, love comes wether you like it or not.
