What does it mean?

Could you have possibly meant to write: Infatuation is because of...love is in spite of?

 

Even if this is what you meant to write, it has no particular meaning here to me unless you put it in a more detailed context.

 

Perhaps it implies that when we love someone, we love them while overlooking certain things...while when we are infatuated with someone, we are infatuated because of certain characteristics.

Infactuation is because of... why do most people become infactuated, because they want to be, because of their characteristics. But love is in spite of.... No matter what you do, you cannot make yourself love, can you? So in spite of it all, love comes wether you like it or not. Not like infactuation which comes usually cause you want it there.
