Picnicbasketmoo Posted April 8, 2016 Share Posted April 8, 2016 I've been talking to this guy for about 3 months now, and the only compliment he has given me is to say that I'm 'quite cute'. Now I thought it was adorable and I really liked the compliment but last night we was talking about a TV program and he was saying that the girls on there were 'hot' and 'stunning'. So now I feel slightly inadequate, I just thought he wasn't one of those types to compliment girls all the time but since he said that I get the feeling he mustn't be that interested in me? he asked me on a date from the very start but he has been overseas for work for 3 months and is due to return in a few days so we're planning on meeting next week sometime. I've been feeling down all day and just feel Inadequate really. Am I overreacting? Link to post Share on other sites

I read an interview with Angie Harmon (Law & Order and Rizzoli & Isles) where she was talking about how between every take there is somebody on set with a curling iron to make sure her "I don't care" casual hairstyle on the shows is just perfect. It makes no sense. Please elaborate and fill in the blanks in the timeline... How long ago were you at college? Were you friends, dating, acquaintances? What happened after college, did you lose contact, remain friends, carry on dating? Why did you say you've been talking to him for 3 months? How long did you lose contact with him for?
