Author SearchingForHope
Thank you all for the feedback. I purchased the two books recommended in the thread. I am also going to get myself into therapy. We are very rural - 3 stoplight town with the nearest mall, for example, over an hour away - but I will find a suitable therapist somehow. This will of course be a cause of stress; the wife will attack me for 'wasting' time and leaving the family, etc. But I think I need it. And hopefully the therapist will help me work through the other issues (as well as provide a more impartial opinion on the kids - I actually think the kids are ok because my wife doesn't go off on them like she does me, but certainly they are being affected by her comments to them about me). Thanks again.
