We have been friends for 4 years and I told her how I feel and She says she only sees me as her best friend. We did hook up Once but it was we were both drinking we both remember it and Liked it but we never again had sex . I really love her she is helping Me right now through the lost of my mom . preraph Posted May 2, 2016 Share Posted May 2, 2016 I agree with Carhill. Just about the only thing you can do is use self-discipline and refocus on other people and other areas of your life. You have been having tunnel vision for this person and that's got to stop. You have to make a deliberate move to incorporate old friends and make new friends and make yourself go out and do something NOT with her at least once a week to stimulate your social life. Once you shift your focus to where she is not the center of your universe, then you will get past this and move forward. But do not wait for this to just happen spontaneously.
