Would you date someone who JUST moved into town?

I know it seems like a strange question.

I live in NYC and a guy I'm dating just moved into town less than a month ago and I can't tell if he is serious about finding a relationship or not.

The dating scene in NYC is a bit weird bc there are always a ton of options.

Thoughts?
