You analyzing everything he says and does and denying the fact that he doesn't want you is preventing you from truly moving forward.

I just don't understand it!! I was happy with the NC, moving forward, Focusing on me.

Then go back to NC and focusing on you. STOP focusing on him and his empty words that mean NOTHING.

You reached out to him when his mom was sick. Then you made the choice to meet him. You're still open to his communication.

That's not NC.

NC requires action on your part. That would mean blocking, deleting and eliminating all forms of access. You do that because you want to move on. You do that because you want to focus on yourself and avoid any distractions from that person that has hurt you.

NC is your responsibility. He's not responsible to adhere or enforce. It is up to you.

When you are ready to move on, you'll take the right steps. Staying open to contact is you still holding onto hope.

That's why I'm back on here, I needed someone to tell me that! I'm ready to move on, I feel like I have my closure.

Then it's time to block him.

I just have. He's blocked on every social media and My phone. I'm glad it's done.

Long story short, split up with my LD ex as he'd been cheating - emotionally. Messaging numerous other women.

One has been in touch today, this is what I've found out he's told them

- we were together as he couldn't find anyone local

- my kids were a huge turn off for him, he had his own, why would he take someone else's on

- he never thought I was hot or sexy

- I emotionally blackmailed him into seeing me EVERY TIME

- if he could ignore me forever he would

So, I've learnt a lot about myself and my FOUR YEAR relationship! I'm not even sad, I'm just so angry!!!

Way too late now. It's too bad for him. Sounds like he too is building his wall just like you now to distance the relationship. Congrats on getting angry. You're well on your way to healing and I hope I get there too.
