Is this a sign that I have a chance still

Howdy. I'm new here so welcome me!

 

Okay so the woman and I dated for 4 years long.. The best girl a man could have it was wonderful. The first for each other and everything. We had our normal up and downs.. It was four years long.

 

Okay so she broke up with me and you know trying to move on blah blah blah...

She hasn't done a SINGLE thing since the break up besides being with friends and working and that is it..

 

The break up with friend motivated it's hard to explain.

So my question is this..

 

Yesterday I was with a old buddy that I wasn't friends with for a while but my ex was his girlfriends best friend.. I started to hang out with him again yesterday and she messaged him out of the blue and said oh "I'm glad you and Michael are friends again." Yes, a small thing but I think big impact because like I said she told me she's moving on and all of this stuff but she's gonna take time out of your day to msg my friend that your happy we're friends again? That's the least of your worries. It shows she still cares and so on.

I think it's fair to say that many of us care about their exes. I mean, while I'd never want them back, I'm pleased for them if I hear through the grapevine that their life is going well.

 

I can't comment on your chances of getting back with her without knowing why it ended in the first place.

In my experience when someone says this, the relationship most likely had much more than the "normal" amount of downs.

Yes a small thing but no, not a big impact. She's glad you're friends with some guy. What's so "big impact" about that? It's a tiny breadcrumb.

 

It shows she still cares and so on.

Well, unfortunately it doesn't show that she wants you back.
