What are the chances of him calling me?

Recommended Posts

So I went on a date with a great guy on Friday (were both 30)

I'd originally spoken to him on an internet dating website two years earlier, but deleted my profile and moved into the real world. When he added me to Facebook a few weeks ago I had no recollection of him, but he let me know he'd been hovering over the 'add friend' button for months. We talked repetitively for a week and arranged a date.

We met at a local bar (somewhere he knew I'd like) He was completely charming and had no problems letting me know that all his friends knew he was on this date and had told him to 'marry me' already. We moved to a bar/ restaurant so he could grab a bite to eat as I'd already eaten (he hadn't mentioned food prior to the date so I didn't want to end up completely wasted). We talked about meeting up for a gig next weekend.

He proceeded to flirt and make me laugh for a few hours. Even texting me 'you're pretty' when i popped to the toilet. We then moved to a local gig venue where he asked me to go check out the 'other band room' with him. Surprise surprise, no band, but he did drag me away to a quiet spot to he could steal a first kiss.

The music started to fall outside both our comfort zones so he asked me if he could come back to mine and continue drinking. I didn't really have a problem with this, i'm not really the sort of girl to have sex on the first date and made it clear to him that this was just a method to extend the night for a few hours as all the bars had already closed.

We then spent three hours drinking and watching music documentaries on my sofa. He made the random comment of 'I was just thinking, that I normally escape dates, to do this alone'.

We ended up curling up together in the same bed fully clothed. I caught him gently pushing the hair off my face while I was sleeping. He left at around mid day the next morning. Kissing me on his way out, with a 'see you in a bit'.

30 minutes post getting home he dropped me a message which read' 'thanks for a lovely evening :)' I replied saying, 'right back at you' and letting him know that I hadn't laughed as much in awhile and that he was also cute (non digitally).

... and thats where all contact went dead, apart from a few likes on my Instagram posts.

Its now Tuesday and nothing.

Any advice would be appreciated.

You can send him amessage with something like: How are you. Like to see you next week. Than it's his turn to arrange a definite date. Otherwise, it's gone I guess.

Zero, unless you actually want to have sex with him which was all he was after. Do you ladies not read your own stuff or are capable of answering your own questions when you post this stuff?

This is typical guy behavior 101.
