Hiya Dave,

Exactly what type of scars are you referring to?

Dermabrasion and laser resurfacing works well on small facial scars.

For larger ones on other parts of your body, you can get a procedure called 'scar revision'....I had that done once. The plastic surgeon cut the scar, then stitched it up....all I was left with was a very slight hairline scar.

lindya.......'heal scars' being the operative phrase.....many claim Vitamin E oil really helps.

But if he's talking about older scars, then he needs to see a professional.

I don't think surgery is possible for me.

They are numerous and hideous and I just want to get rid of them, cover them, mask them...whatever can be done.

Except for extreme options like surgery and tattooing.

Perhaps a cream containing a high dosage of Retinol would help. Have you spoken to your doctor about this? He or she might be able to recommend a good prescription cream. I think retinol's supposed to be about the most effective non-surgical solution. It was originally prescribed for acne scarring.
