by the way, this person i met stated emphatically that she does not date married men and that we are just and will only be friends (not that i EVER suggested i was interested in anything else).

 

that's how EVERY affair starts; you just want to be friends, you would never do that to your wife, why can't a man and a woman be buddies, double standards... blah... blah... AND you already branded your wife a control freak.

 

to be honest, i cannot believe how oblivious you are -- you are completely checked out of your marriage. i suggest you sit down with your wife and make the inevitable divorce as amicable as possible. i think your marriage is over, sorry. pity for the two kids involved.
