IhavenoFREAKINclue
I shaved over the weekend b/c i was seeing my boyfriend. Now I have all these nasty razor bumps down there. And its more my bikini area....the area that you would get waxed...(sides)....fell me? I need to get rid of it. He's coming to see me this weekend and were going to the beach and i have these nasty bumps there that are obviously visual when wearing a bathing suit. Do they sell some sort of cream to minimize it or reduce the redness. It's really gross and embarrassing
ReluctantRomeo
Just laugh it off. Guys are much less bothered by such things than girls, and he'll just be very pleased to see you. Bumpy or not. I speak from experience
LucreziaBorgia
I've heard that tea tree oil helps to sooth those bumps.

Author IhavenoFREAKINclue
Is there any lotions i can use that I can get at CVS? I need to reduce the redness of them....and by this weekend! So please, anybody....
imjustagirl
one word: BikiniZone You can get it in a cream or a gel. I'm sure CVS has it if Kmart has it. Put it on and by my experience, the end of the day, the redness is gone. The bumps are still there, but those nasty funky OMG What happened to her redness is gone. I use it everytime I shave...now, no more bumps. Well, unless I shave w/ a flubbed up rasor. You guys always harp on us girls for using yours, but since I've moved in with my boyfriend...I swear he's using my girlie razor to shave his sack! I'm always getting knicks and cuts! Hope this helps!

Linlin
Use something called Tend Skin or No bumps works like a dream. I am not sure where to get it though. Probably one of the professional stores. Look on the web. I have to use it for the regrow from sugaring or I am a mess down there.
JenDoe
TendSkin works wonders. You can get it at beauty supply stores, Sephora, ULTA, etc. It's a unisex product - works well for razor burn and bumps for both sexes, on all parts of the body. A little bit goes a LONG way. Also, make sure to use a loofah and exfoliate so the bumps don't become ingrowns!

I think I'm missing the raison d'être of this shaving business: IME it's never smooth in the long term - always leads to stubble. And there's nothing I hate worse than a stubble burn "down there"... Whatever's wrong with natural? And/or the occasional trim'n'tidy (not shave)?
Israfil
You may want to try something from the inside out, like an anti-inflammatory like Ibuprofen. Take 800 mg's - that is the anti-inflammatory dose. Advil and Nuprin are types of ibuprofens. Also, a topical anesthetic ointment might work as well, such as benzocaine. Or, a steroid cream might also reduce the swelling, like a cortisone. You can usually find both of these over the counter, in lower percentages, at any Walgreens or CVS type pharmacy.
