Gemini10182
I bought some weed cookies to eat over the weekend while my mom was out of town. Any way I thought I had put them all away before she got home about TEN minutes ago. (She got back home earlier than usual). She doesn't know that I smoke or use weed by the way, and she is totally against any type of drug and alcohol use in or around her home. She suddenly said out to me "this chocolate chip really taste different than any other chocolate chip cookie I've ever eaten, oh well". Anyway when she went to go back to her bedroom I thought to myself OOOHH ****!! I new that it had to be a weed cookie because we didn't have any other cookies at the time. My mom is 60 years old and I was just wondering can it be bad for a woman this old to be high outta her mind? She has NEVER done ANY kind of drug a day in her life. And I was wondering what to tell her when she starts acting weird and wondering why she feels "funny" what should I do?
GorillaTheater
You have to tell her what she ate. I doubt it's going to be physical harmful, but she's going to be scared to death if she's never been high before and isn't expecting it or doesn't know what's going on. Yeah, you might be in a bind with her over this, but you don't have a choice.

bummer
Don't say anything. She just came home from a trip and may have eaten something weird earlier. Just watch and film the fun parts. She will be fine. She'll just get sleepy and suggest she sleep it off. Be quiet while she naps, make her a nice dinner and be nice to your mom. Quit dosing her.

Author Gemini10182
You have got to tell us what happened. Well she is ok today. But yesterday she was just smiling to herself and eating a lot the whole three hours. It was sad lol

ltjg45
You would think anyone who tastes anything weird within their own home would, at the least, question why that is the case instead of continuing to eat the strange tasting food. And then hearing that she was mildly affected by the drug and acting funny just makes this more amusing than it should have been, considering that I hate drugs with a passion. You may have to tell her at some point just in case if she ever needs to get herself checked for any permanent damage but it is your call. I think she is very healthy not to let a little weed affect me hardly at all and, frankly, it looks like she enjoyed that weed cookie. If nothing else, keep a close eye on her. I wish you the best of luck.
amaysngrace
That's a bad baker if she could taste it. They did something wrong.

This is the worst advice, telling her not to tell her mom and to film her too. The lady is 60, never done drugs in her life! If something bad happens, the guilt wouldn't be good. Tell your mom (though I see this thread is old now, so I hope you did tell her!) what she ate because it's the right thing to do.
PogoStick
If she didn't get jacked up then that is one weak weed cookie. In an hour she should have been out of her mind, possibly in full blown panic. I would have suggested having benzo on hand, and if you didn't, get to the emergency dept ASAP. This story doesn't feel legit.
salparadise
Play some Grateful Dead tunes and burn some incense... no need to overthink it.
ZHguy
Omg this is just hilarious. So did you tell her? If not, can you tell her? I really want to know her reaction. The reaction would've been priceless!
