Freedom From Religion

Recommended Posts

I have noticed many of you speak as if you feel like you being drug down by religion.

"I don't have time"

"Too busy"

"I just want to live my own life"

"not be bothered"

"leave me alone"

"ok for you, but not for me"

thats sort of thing.

That appears to be the consensus on many topics brough up in here

go ahead and rant, slam, insult, or praise.

I have seen a lot of arguments based on prejudging peoples positions on issues.

Why don't we level the ground, and state our positions for the record.

or you can just speak and or rant if you want.

but be constructive.

Today I went to the doctor for some more drugs to treat the pain associated with my RLS. I've taken this drug before, but not for a very long time and it seems to have more of an affect on me now. I hate feeling drugged..

I've been down on religion at times. My last girlfriend broke up with me for religious reasons. She worshipped money and I didn't have a dime.

I am a religious person but I don't give much thought to spirituality until I've consumed at least one medium vanilla milk shake.

If you'd like to read exactly my thoughts on religion, go here: http://www.columbia.edu/~gm84/gibran26.html Gibran's treatise on religion is very profound and strikingly similar to my own.

I don't mind talking about my religious beliefs as long as others promise to immediately adopt them as their own as well. I graduated from the Tom Cruise School of having the sole answer for everything.
