We had a nice conversation during the drive, and afterwords she gave me her card and pointed out her cell number. Obviously all salespeople give you their card, but I didn't know what to make of her pointing out her cell. Does that seem like more than just giving me her card for business? Almost all of them flirt in some fashion and I have all of their cell numbers. Obviously, I wasn't there, but based on what you've provided, I'd say she's just trying to land a sale. Being over friendly, flirtatious, extra nice to get something done is not unheard of. Anyways take a chance. Worst thing that could happen is she says no. Thats it. Nothing wrong in getting rejected. preraph Posted July 16, 2016 Share Posted July 16, 2016 Since it's not someone you have to keep running into, go for it, but do it AFTER you tell her the verdict on whether you're buying the car or not. Otherwise, if she says no, you won't want to buy from her. And she will be in a position where she feels she is being coerced if you haven't told her no to the car yet. So call and tell her you're getting the car or you're not but ask her out. But be prepared because unless you're some hunk or something, she will probably say no or already have a bf or whatever. Remember she's working in a place with a lot of men selling cars, so if she wants a bf, she probably has a lot of options. Link to post Share on other sites

If she's out on the lot or away from her desk a lot, her cell may be the easiest way to reach her. After all, she's probably very interested in her bottom line. That said, there's no harm in asking. Sounds like she is just trying to close you.....Practically all good sales people, no matter what the item/service gives out cell phones....
