finalf72
here are some tips to help 1. excersise : it builds character, gives u spiritual strength and helps to give a healthy mind 2. eat right : eating right can help ur mind be healthy too, especially foods rich in vitamin B 6 and B 12 , like meat and dairy products. also, take ur vitamins, wiich also has alot of B6 and B 12 3. sleep for at least 8 hours a night, AT NIGHT. if u sleep during the day, its a waste of time. when ur sleeping, when ur eyes dont see any light rays, it sends a signal to the brain to release healing hormones, so if ur eyes see daylight while sleeping, it wont send the message to the brain, that its time to heal. this is all acording to my mom who is a doctor. when i mean heal, i dont only mean physically, but i also mean mentally. when u get 8 hours of sleep or more, at night, ur alowing urself to get more REM sleep, which is still in research, but studies show that during that stage of sleeping, ppl reinforce what they learned and saw and experienced all day and organize there thoughts, its like, spring cleaning ; throwing out the bad , taking the house apart and re organizing everything so its nice and neat. 4. shower and look ur best everyday. if u do this, you will have less time worrying about how u look around ppl than when u didnt shower, and will be able to concentrate more on whats goin on. do all these and ull feel alot better. ratzxvital
It's all completely agreed. And also just take it easy I would say. My grandmother wanted me to visit her, but I knew if I did I would probably feel worse (I'm going through a lot right now). Usually I would go just not to feel guilty, but I actually stayed home, and felt a lot better. At that moment I realized I should do things like that more often if it helps me. laRubiaBonita
Make sure that you take a multi-vitamin, and a b suppliment too! Vitamin B is very imporatant in the transport of seratonin, The Happy Chemical, naturally manufactured in your brain. make sure you get enough sunlight too, which helps lift spirits and advocates the release and production of serotonin. quankanne
above all, do NOT hesitate to consult your doctor about this. Although medication to control depression sounds scary, or people tell you that you're nuts for considering/taking meds, don't base your final action on either of those. Sometimes your blood chemistry gets out of whack and you need the chemicals that come in a pill form to help get it back "on-line." in the past, moimeme posted an incredible article on how a surplus or depletion of certain chemicals in the brain can affect us – much in the same way your car starts doing stuff if you don't keep the oil reserve full, air the tires or even fill the tank with gas. All the things posted above are great, but sometimes your body needs more, and a physician can help.
