Jammer25 Posted July 29, 2016 Share Posted July 29, 2016 So I had a phone interview scheduled for tomorrow at 10AM, for a job I applied to. However, a meeting at my current job got moved to the same time late today. What would be the best way to explain and ask to move our phone time? I was thinking: "One of my work meetings was rescheduled to the same time as our phone interview. Is it possible to reschedule to the afternoon?" I'm probably over-thinking it, sure, but I like the job description and company I'm applying to so I want to cross my T's and dot my I's. (But work is still work so I can't just miss the meeting.) In addition, let them know that you would appreciate their consideration because you're highly interested in the job position. But make sure you call way a head of time to let them know.
