Jersey born raised
Unless i am mistaken the state you live in has fault. I did a quick search using your state and adultery. The web site I found indicated while asset division usually does not get effected by adultery, it matters such as custody it is which then effects child support. It also effects alimony. In the case of custody you have a two for one. The court will take into consideration the adultery AND where the children will live. Staying in the home is an amazing advantage. No, MIL's house is not nearly as good a home as yours. For at least keeping them in social environment and school system they are doing ok in. Does MOM wife know this? It is huge money in her case too. Does she have children. A note of caution if you are intimate with her or another woman while separated this info all goes away. Check your state laws and let us know. Also staying in the home in no-fault states counts to.
