Boyfriend "forgot" to tell me his female friend was coming on our mini trip.

I thought it was just us going on a 2 day trip to a music fesival. We planned it and took 3 days off. He made it seem like it was just the two of us. A week before he had to cancel due to work stuff..I understood. He then told me his female friend was mad cause he bailed on the music festival. I asked him if she was going to go with us cause i didnt know.. He said yes and then said she showed me the flyer for it. I dont mind his best friend but why would he not tell me from the beginning that she was gonna be going on a two day trip with us he had a month......im a bit peeved is it just me or was that strange of him to keep it from me.

 

The two of them are pretty close. He says shes like an "older sister" they ride bikes together go to the beach and stuff and I guess it's okay..I trust him and I told him it cool if they hang out some times, but I want things to be up front and honest. I would never plan a date or trip and not tell him my best guy friend is coming along cause he would be mad at me. Not fair.

You have a right to be upset. and it's a very odd thing for him to invite her. It's just going to be you three? I would feel like a 3rd wheel on a trip with a couple.

I dated a women who claimed her relationship with her ex was like a brother/sister relationship. What?! They broke up literally a couple of months before I hooked up with her and had sex. What SICK person characterizes a relationship with someone as a brother/sister relationship when you JUST tried having sex with him/her or have romantic feelings?!?!

 

The "older sister" line is very possibly a concoction of his own making to deceive you. Just be observant. If she is attractive AND single...I suspect more is going on.
