Clep
I started out with one book about manipulation so I could use it cosign how horrible my ex was. Turned out that book was all about me and it started me on my road. I never would have thought about picking up a book about my childhood and effects of that. Glad it started regardless of where. My list of the most life changing for me. In Sheep's Clothing by George K Simon What Matters Most: The power of living your values by Hyrum W Smith Every codependency book by Melody Beattie (There are several) The Seven Levels of Intimacy by Matthew Kelly Boundaries: When to Say Yes, When to Say No-To Take Control of Your Life by Dr Henry Cloud Toxic Parents: Overcoming Their Hurtful Legacy and Reclaiming Your Life by Susan Forward Should I Stay or Should I Go?: A Guide to Knowing if Your Relationship Can--and Should--be Saved by Lundy Bancroft and JAC Patrissi I have read many on borderline personality, communication, conflict resolution, relationships and such. I did get something from every book I have read but for me this list contains the core books aided me the most. The last one I just started reading after a large life struggle with my hubby. It is my new favorite and really expresses exactly why Alanon didn't work for me. It took reading the introduction for me to regain my spine and slip right back into the person I have become instead of staying in the place I used to be. By chapter three I wish I would have had it ten years ago. Crazy good book.
