What is the deal with men wanting to corrupt innocent females?

Recommended Posts

For example, I've only been with 1 man. Am quite innocent as far as being somewhat sheltered, I admit a bit naive. So why do players or so called wonanizers or just men in general feel the need to corrupt me? Or why are they attracted to this? It's like the predator hunting the weak. There should be some type of punishment. I have become more aware, but before I was just an idiot thinking these guys had good intentions. It's like a challenge? A sexual conquest? These men sick in the head?

So they are jerks? They think it will be easy? I'm so glad I'm not stupid and that I was raised to respect myself highly and was shown by my father that actions speak louder than words. So they just want to use me for their enjoyment? Easy prey in what way? Please elaborate!

I wouldn't waste time parsing the motives of people you already know you want to reject. Just reject them, forget them and move on.

They aren't worth that kind of efforts. I put efforts in women I am interested in, preferably free.

Guys hunting taken and committed women are so much looking for troubles.

But, to counterweight.. I've had a woman who openly tell me she was in a RS and who would shamelessly trying to hit on me, made me run the other way. Not scared, I don't want to play these games.

Exactly, I thought the same thing, if they don't have respect that you're in a relationship or married , they obviously don't have any respect for themselves. Is it also true some men pursue women in relationships because they can just hump them and send them home to their husbands and bfs? No hassle I hear.

Sometimes I can't tell if they're lying or if they have ulterior motives.

Because one is better than the other?

Many guys are attracted to innocent women. They are wired that way. Others are attracted to the b?tches. These men are also attracted to the innocent ones but get all tangled with the drama that they lose sight of the nice ones. That is why these women prefer to stay alone -- fear.

The innocent carry a lot of qualities with them - they are not manipulators , no drama , trustworthy. All characteristics that make them relationship material. But the wrong guy uses everything against her and they go back to their protective shell.

yeah but I don't want to be a target!

Sweetie, all women are targets when it comes to men and their pursuit of us. That's just how the game is played so often. The trick is to stay true to yourself, know what you want and especially what you don't want and continue to be very discerning about the men you meet and date.

There's something that bothers me about this concept of "corrupting innocent women". That's not so say that naïve people can't be taken advantage of, but we all have agency and free will. We all make choices and willingly accept the potential consequences of those choices.

We may be "targeted" at times, but we are free to step aside and out of the way.

Ma belle, I kinda understand what you're saying but I mean I used to think makes and females can just be friends but my husband told me there's no such thing as "new" friends. That they don't give 2 ****s about you and just want to use you. Hit it and quit it.

There are indeed men who are like this but please don't think that this is true of all men. That would be terribly erroneous of you.

Unfortunately, that's the way the world is. You can't change it, but you can learn to deal with it. Most men will want quick, easy sex. Some of those will also be hoping to develop a relationship. Those will be more patient about waiting for sex a while, and show their interest and sincerity in other ways (but there will still be some who will play a long game and will still just want sex).

Anyway, they aren't corrupting you - that's rather dramatic. And you may be naïve and inexperienced, but someday you will want to have experience and be more savvy about relationships and motivations.

In the meantime, just say no until you trust someone. There's little else you can do, really, except choose celibacy and no relationships at all.

Ma belle, they take advantage because I'm a good person and feel the need to listen and help them with their problems. I can't change who I am.

..and what exactly do you mean by "corrupted"?

pretty broad phrase there. Is it having sex with you? Or causing you to embezzle money or commit a crime.

I don't think most men would consider having sex, or a relationship with you, as corrupting you.

Yes, corrupting is the right word. Being all I know is one man and one man only.

Look, I'm not sure how much to buy into this premise. You have stated on another thread that you "can't stop" thinking about having sex with other men, even though you're married. So I'm a little dubious about this "corrupting" and being "innocent" business.

If you want to be with other men, then fine, get a divorce and do so. But don't try to wrap it up as something it's not, such as being a victim of predatory men.

Well that's the thing, I've been thinking about other men because of that one guy that tried to or already corrupted me by telling me all of these stories and sexual fantasies.

You can't be "corrupted" unless you open the door. You could have told him to stop.

So it's his fault and not yours?

You're an adult. Accept the responsibilities and ownership of being one and don't blame others for your choices.

I mean by introducing me to different things. Like I hear men talk at work, sharing stories about the females they've done and the things they do to females. All I e known is my husband so when I hear them talk about things I e never experienced or even knew about it kinda corrupts my innocence and makes me curious.

You're right I'm an adult and take responsibility but something like listening or having a coversation with co workers I really don't have control over. Sometimes I'm just in the same room, or they see me as one of the guys and just talk about whatever it is in front of me. Not sure if they're talking about it in front of me intentionally to see my reaction or what.
